Halloween Books for Kids

Halloween Books for Kids

When my daughter was a tiny baby, I started collecting Halloween books every October to add to our Halloween collection.

Fast forward 10 years and we’ve got a nice little pile we pull out every October. I add at least one book every year, but this year we added about 8-10 from all the awesome suggestions you shared!

I asked my daughter to pick her very favorite(s) from the pile, to share with all of you.

She choose all of the Dorrie the witch books (we own about 6, but there are lots more available) and Heckedy Peg (my personal favorite).

What is your favorite Halloween book(s)?

Dorrie the witch Books: There is always a little trouble or mischief to be solved with Dorie around. Dorrie is a witch. A little witch. Her hat is always crooked and her socks never match. The Big Witch is her mother, and Gink is her very own black cat.

Heckety Peg: In this story, Seven sweet children are transformed by an evil witch into specific types of food, will the Mother be able to figure out which child is which and save them all from the evil witch? The pictures in this book as absolutely beautiful!
