Carrot Rice Krispy Treats {Gluten Free}
I seem to be underestimating my time a lot lately. Anyone Else? I had big plans to make an Easter dessert for an Easter Egg Hunt and dinner we had this weekend, but I just didn’t have enough hours in the day! Luckily these darling Carrot Rice Krispies came to the rescue!
Mini Flower Pot Brownie Poppers {Gluten Free}
It’s Officially Spring! I always feel like such a champion when I’ve made it through another Utah winter. The warmer temps mixing in, longer days, and all the flowers, blooms, and grass greening up makes everything so wonderful!y
My daughter has a March birthday and this year she wanted all things flowers, garden, and fairies. We brainstormed and came up with these fun Brownie Popper Flower Pots.
Don’t they just scream SPRING!
St Patty’s Day Dinner Menu {Gluten Free}
This weekend we celebrated St Patricks Day, with our 5th annual St Patty’s Day Dinner. We have come to love this tradition as a family. My daughter gets so excited to celebrate & does not let us forget!
I stick with pretty much the same menu every year {with little variations from year to year}, to keep things simple. (In true Carly fashion)
Shamrock Bread {Gluten Free}
Every year for St Patrick’s Day we have a St Patty’s Day Dinner. Our menu always consists of sort of a variation for “Shamrock” Bread. Its totally a made up thing! I wanted something green for our menu that didn’t have any food dyes, & our “Shamrock” bread was born.
This bread is a fun & festive way to add green to your St Patricks menu without food dyes! It’s also tasty, gluten free, and goes perfectly with our Minty Pea Soup.
{Gluten Free} Cookie Monster
When I was in college my apartment was across the street from a fun little restaurant that made Giant Cookies in a pie pan. They’d load the cookie with rich creamy ice cream, delicious hot fudge, sticky sweet caramel, and top it all off with light & fluffy whipped cream; a Cookie Monster.
Homemade Hot Fudge {Gluten Free}
I have this recipe written on a tiny post-it note dated 2009.
The recipe comes from my cousins wife, Lynette. I don’t even know if she remembers giving it to me! But, it has been a staple in our home ever since.
Homemade Buttermilk Caramel Sauce {Gluten Free}
Buttermilk Caramel Sauce, can I get a YUM?! We make this recipe on a regular basis around our house and use it on everything! Pancakes, crepes, ice cream, waffles, bread pudding, cookie monsters… the list goes on!
Spring Yard/Garden Prep Tips
It’s that time of year again!! Garden season is just beginning. March brings some beautiful days {along with some snowy and rainy ones}.
I love to optimize those days with what CAN be done in the yard whilst enjoying beautiful spring temps.
I’ve put together some Spring Yard/Garden Prep Tips to get you started.
Homemade Peanut Butter Meltaways {Gluten Free}
Homemade Peanut Butter Meltaways… My mouth is watering just thinking about these delicious PB cups! This is a great recipe to keep ingredients on hand for, for when you need a quick treat. Adding different kinds/colors of sprinkles can make them festive for any holiday. We choose rainbow nonpareils for St Patties Day.
You can never go wrong with chocolate and peanut butter!
